Tom, the 30 or so minute DFA night school is just perfect for showing at a Link-up meeting. When will you have it on DVD so we can easily show it? Hand out would be great too.

Hi Holly, All of the materials that we've discussed so far are available at:

http://tools.democracyforamerica.com/nightschool/

There's a PowerPoint, as well as an QuickTime version with audio.

After we've done all four sessions over the next few weeks we'll likely produce a DVD of the entire "Spring Semester."

I really like the audio too. I hope to show it to my county Democratic group. They were receptive to the Lackoff DVD about framing. Don't you think this would be useful to many groups?

We're trying to get the materials into as many formats as we can (pdf, PowerPoint, QuickTime, web presenations, etc.) to accommodate as many people's technology levels as possible. And, yes, PLEASE share it with your group! That's the idea!

The DFA Training Academy is a weekend-long, very intense immersion in this material. The Night School is much shorter, but it's designed to reach an audience that DFA can't reach -- or can't reach a DFA Training Academy.

Does the DFA Training Academy cover the same topics? We are thinking of having one out in Northern IL.

sorry for all the double posts, maybe you can understand why I want the DVD LOL

The DFA Training Academy covers many of the same topics, but in much, much more detail. Instead of four 45 minute sessions, you get 18 hours of personalized attention. The Academy is much more hands-on and you get to work with some of the best Democratic and progrssive trainers in the country.

Thanks everyone. See you in San Diego at DemFest!!

Thanks for doing all of this. It is a great idea. We progressives can use all the training we can get. We at DF/IL were teasing about crashing a Republican training but won't have to now. Thanks
